Phuket

Phuket is a place where lush green hills meet some of the most stunning beaches on Earth. As you travel across this island, you’ll notice the hills don’t just stay in the middle — they tumble right down toward the sparkling Andaman Sea, giving the landscape a dramatic, movie-set quality. It’s the kind of place that makes you stop and stare.

The island has two very different personalities, and both are brilliant. There’s the buzzing energy of places like Patong Beach, where warm turquoise waves roll in and the whole shoreline feels alive. Then there’s the quieter, more mysterious side — towering limestone pillars rising from emerald water in Phang Nga Bay, or the centuries-old streets of Old Phuket Town, where beautifully decorated buildings tell stories of Chinese merchants and trading ships from long ago.

Watching over it all is the giant white Buddha on Nakkerd Hill, serene and peaceful no matter how busy the island gets below. Phuket truly has something for everyone.
