Paris

Paris is one of those cities that feels like it stepped straight out of a storybook. As France’s capital for over a millennium, it has been at the heart of art, fashion, history, and culture for longer than most countries have even existed. Walking its grand boulevards, you get the sense that every cobblestone has a story to tell.

The city is packed with world-famous treasures. The Louvre alone could keep you busy for days — it holds tens of thousands of works of art, including one of the most recognisable paintings on the planet. Then there is the iron giant on the skyline, that magnificent tower which was almost torn down but survived because engineers discovered it had a pretty useful second job as a radio antenna.
