A charming group of small islands connected by bridges in the middle of the city, this park has a lovely botanical garden that bursts into beautiful colour in summer.

Oulu Castle Ruins
On a small island in the river you can find the peaceful ruins of Oulu's old castle, which was accidentally blown up long ago and is now a lovely place to wander and imagine the past.
